WATCHMAKING'S MOST ADVANCED CALENDAR

The ultimate calendar timepiece, the BOVET Fleurier Virtuoso VII knows the lengths of all the months of the year, so you will never be off schedule. Housed in the Amadeo convertible case, it can be worn on either side, used as a table clock or a pocket watch (with the supplied chain), all without any tools. Keep this timepiece wound (with is 5 days of power reserve, and you won’t have to reset it until the year 2100 (2100 is not a leap year because it is a century year divisible by 100 but not by 400, as per Gregorian calendar rules).

Mr. Pascal Raffy, the owner of the House of BOVET, is a collector himself, so he looks at watchmaking from this unique perspective. As a result, BOVET was able to pack the 43.30mm Fleurier Virtuoso VII with all the displays of the complicated perpetual calendar, while also including a retrograde date, power reserve, and reverse hand-fitting. The Fleurier Virtuoso VII is a wonderful example of BOVET’s ability to combine decorative arts, chronometry, mechanical ingenuity, and innovation.

DESIGN INNOVATION

The BOVET Fleurier Virtuoso VII, introduced in 2018, showcases the brand’s signature Amadéo convertible case (43.35mm x 15.7mm in Grade 5 titanium or 18K red gold), transforming tool-free into a reversible wristwatch, pocket watch, or desk clock. Its dual-sided dial emphasizes neoclassical symmetry with guilloché patterns in varioius colors, accented by blued hands and Super-LumiNova for low-light readability.

MECHANICAL MASTERY

Powered by the hand-wound Calibre 13DM04AR (405 components, 41 jewels, 21,600 vph), it boasts a 5-day/120-hour power reserve from a single barrel. The front displays hours, minutes, and a retrograde perpetual calendar (day, date, month, leap year cycle), while the reverse reveals hours, minutes, seconds, and power reserve via patented reversed hand-fitting—ensuring both sides run clockwise.

COLLECTOR APPEAL

Pascal Raffy envisioned the Fleurier Virtuoso VII as a fusion of decorative arts and chronometry, with limited editions (often 30 pieces) highlighting bespoke dials. The timepiece embodies BOVET’s heritage of practical haute horlogerie for global collectors.
