The case and movement of the Amadeo Amadeo Tourbillon are completely hand-engraved. The engraving process hasn’t changed in centuries — the tools have gotten better, but everything has to be done by hand.

NO ROOM FOR MISTAKES

The engraving of the movement and the case of the Amadeo Amadeo Tourbillon is all done by hand, like it has been done for centuries. There is no "Control Z" or "white out" that can be used if a mistake is made. One slip of the graver anytime and the master engravers have to start over. You would think this would put an enormous amoutn of pressure on these talented artisans, but the engraving department is one of the calmest in the BOVET manufacutre.

INSPIRED BY GREEK COLUMNS

BOVET’s signature engraving is Fleurisanne, which is inspired by ancient Greek columns and is unique to the Fleurier region of Switzerland, where BOVET was founded in 1822.

NO PRESSURE

Each Amadeo Amadeo Tourbillon takes about 180 hours to hand engrave, but some take longer. Each timepiece, as it is crafted by human hands, is unique to itself, and it takes the time it takes.

FOUR TIMEPIECES IN ONE

Thanks to the Amadeo convertible system, the Amadeo Amadeo Tourbillon can be reversed, used as a table clock and a pocket timepiece (thanks to the provided chain), all without any tools. Patented by BOVET in 2010, the Amadeo convertible system is simple, easy to use, and extremely versatile.
