The 19Thirty has been an iconic collection for BOVET since June 2015, when it was first introduced. This timepiece channeled the House’s rich history making the world’s most beautiful pocket timepieces in the 1800s.
The 19Thirty collection captures and honors a moment when the watchmaking industry was undergoing a true transformation, when pocket timepieces were making their way onto the wrist.
The 19Thirty is directly inspired by the aesthetic codes of a BOVET timepiece from 1930s in owner Mr. Pascal Raffy’s private collection — the “easel” chronometer, which was one of the last pocket watches to be manufactured by BOVET before wristwatches became widespread.
Perfectly sized and surpremely comfortable, the 19Thirty is BOVET’s answer to the daily wear timepiece, perfect for a suit, jeans and a t-shirt, and everything in-between.
